Beckham for Armani

Giorgio Armani is pleased to announce that his friend David Beckham, who plays for LA Galaxy and the England national team, will be the official worldwide testimonial for Emporio Armani Underwear from January, 2008, coinciding with launch of the Emporio Armani Underwear collection in the United States. 

Wuihhh, dari pertama kali muncul seminggu lalu, gambar ini sudah di'unduh' lebih dari 690.000 kali, per 0,16 detiknya. Dan gilanya, sampai sekarang terus berjalan, proses 'pencarian' gambar "Golden Balls" ini. Bukannya Saya  mau menampilkan gambar porno..tapi kasih info pembuktian kalau memang nama besar Beck masih juga nanjak, biarpun udah gak di Real, terbukti dengan 'gambar'nya yang laris dan diprediksi bakal menaikkan omset underwear-nya Armani.
Iklan pertama yang menampilkan pose Beckham (yang sudah bocor di internet) dalam pemotretan di Los Angeles dengan fotografer Mat Alas dan Marcus Piggott, baru akan ditampilkan di majalah Vanity Fair USA edisi Februari 2008. So pasti, pose will then be rolled out around the world in sport, fashion and lifestyle magazines. Masih juga bakal dipampang di papan billboard segede-gede gedung, di beberapa kota besar seperti New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Roma, Paris dan Tokyo.

Giorgio Armani said, "David is truly a modern day icon in that his fame extends well beyond the realm of soccer. He is considered as one of the world's most talented soccer players and a former captain of his national team, but his image has come to stand for more than this. He represents a notion of modern masculinity: as a sports hero, husband and father. He is also a man with a great sense of style. There was a time when soccer players were not always considered to be fashion role models. David Beckham has helped to change that."

Sebenarnya kedekatan Giorgio Armani dan dunia olahraga memang sudah berlangsung lama. Banyak juga yang sudah 'didandani' seperti Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Thierry Henry, Christian Vieri, Fabio Cannavaro, Andriy Shevchenko dan Kaka.
